A leopard draped across a sausage tree branch. A secretary bird stomping through grass. A dung beetle rolling its prize uphill. The Mara rewards those who look closely.

This film follows a single day from predawn to after dark. No narration. Just the sounds of the savanna and the stories the land tells when you’re patient enough to listen.

Working with Guides

The Maasai guides know this landscape intimately. They read tracks, interpret bird calls, and predict animal behavior with an accuracy that borders on prescience. Every good image I’ve made here is a collaboration with them.
